The Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), through the WE CARE Office of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Public Affairs (OVCPA), proudly presents the 2nd International Conference on UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and Social Innovation (ICUNSSI), to be held on September 24–25, 2026 in Iligan City, Philippines.

Building on the success of its inaugural conference, ICUNSSI continues to serve as MSU-IIT’s flagship platform for advancing dialogue, research, and collaboration toward the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The conference reflects the University’s enduring commitment to fostering inclusive growth, sustainability, and transformative social innovation.

For its second year, ICUNSSI brings together a strong collaboration with Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI), Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University (BSRU), Mindanao State University Zamboanga Sibugay, Samahang Pisika ng Visayas at Mindanao (SPVM), and Philippine Association of Extension Program Implementors (PAEPI) Inc. Region 10, underscoring the conference’s international character and shared vision of sustainable development.

With the theme “Transforming Ideas into Impact: Achieving SDGs as Pathways to a Resilient World,” ICUNSSI 2026 aims to inspire meaningful action by bridging ideas with real-world solutions. It provides a vibrant platform for scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and innovators to exchange insights, explore opportunities, and address pressing global challenges through interdisciplinary approaches.

As a hub for knowledge-sharing and partnership-building, ICUNSSI continues to empower communities and institutions to co-create sustainable futures—turning vision into impact, and innovation into lasting change.
